I’m going to keep this post sweet and short. Many people – including me – use the Jetpack Contact Form on their WordPress website, which is a great choice if you don’t want to install additional plugins and don’t have a need for complex form features. Of course, Jetpack is a plugin too, but many websites have it installed regardless of the contact form option. Jetpack functions as an all-in-one plugin that will enrich your website with many extra features, minimising the need for different plugins.
Something you don’t get to choose in Jetpack’s contact form generator is the format of required fields. By default, Jetpack will add a label that says ‘(required)’, but don’t you agree that that sounds just a bit unfriendly? To ensure a lean, minimal look for your contact form, it is best to use asterisks. After all, anyone is familiar with their meaning in forms, and it just looks better than seeing ‘(required)’ all across a form.
